CSFF Tour: Lost and a Day Late

Yes, I didn't post on time about CSFF's featured site, the Lost Genre Guild. Why? Since Christmas I've worked 23.5 hours of overtime at my job, staying one night until midnight and getting about 4.5 hours of sleep a night. I fit in a short nap before the New Year's Eve party we hosted last night, which went from 6:30 to 1:00.

The "lost genre" the site refers to is Christian speculative fiction. The group's vision is:

Welcome to the literary home for artists, editors, agents, promoters, and fans of Christian sci-fi, fantasy, and supernatural thrillers. Spec-fic is the best selling secular genre, but few Christian authors have been connecting with fans. Demographics show that many Christian genre fans are online. The Lost Genre Guild's been laying infrastructure for Viral Marketing, or, word-of-mouth buzz to promote our lost genre.

I like the list of speculative genres on the site:

Alternative History
Apocalypse or Holocaust
Coming of Age
Contemporary Fantasy
Cyberpunk
Dark Fantasy or Horror
Dystopia
First Contact
Genetic Enginerring
Hard Science Fiction
Light Fantasy
Light Science Fiction
Military Science Fiction
Post-Apocalyptic or
Post-Holocaust
Social Science Fiction
Space Opera
Traditional Fantasy
