Top Ten Books I'd Like To See Made Into A Movie

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This week's Top Ten is books that you would like to have a movie adaptation of. While at first thought this is cool, immediately following is a zap of reality as you remember how many movie adaptations have butchered the story. But nevertheless it would be awesome to see some books in movie form as long as they stay as close to the book as possible-like The Hunger Games.

#1 The River of Time Series by Lisa T. Bergren

#2 Catching Fire and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

#3 The O'Malley Series by Dee Henderson

#4 Uncommon Heroes by Dee Henderson

#5 Discarded Heroes by Ronie Kendig

#6 Team Hope by Susan May Warren

#7 Mission: Russia & Mission of Mercy by Susan May Warren

#8 Heroes of Quantico by Irene Hannon

#9 Sweet Seasons by Debbie ViguiĆ©

#10 The Chase by DiAnn Mills

Hi! I'm definitely with you there for the Hunger Games series. I'm sad to say that I have not heard of any of the other books... but great post anyway! Also, congrats on 50 followers! I am a new follower as well! :)

I would love it if you could check out my TTT!

I've only read The Hunger Games series from this list - and 100% agree, I think they would make excellent movies - well Catching Fire since Hunger Games is already done :-)

Let's see.... assuming the adaptions were done well like you mentioned, I think these would make good movies:
Dreamspell by Tamara Leigh
"Daughters of Lancaster County" trilogy by Wanda Brunstetter
The Messenger by Siri Mitchell
Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones
My Heart Remembers by Kim Vogel Sawyer
Fatal Deduction by Gayle Roper
Fools Rush In by Janice Thompson

And though the following aren't Christian fiction, I always though the "Truth" series by Dawn Cook would make a cool fantasy movie series. "Enchanted, Inc" by Shanna Swendson would make an awesome movie as sort of a light-hearted romantic fantasy. Oh yes, and "The Two Princesses of Barmarre" by Gail Carson Levine, I always thought that would make a cute movie as well. :)

Valerie-I've only read The Messenger on your list (and I agree it would be a cool movie) but I have quite a few of the others in my TBR stack. Thanks for chiming in!
