Bout of Books 5.0: Day 2: Challenges

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

Today there are three challenges being hosted and silly me is gonna attempt to do them all! Please try not to laugh at my pitiful and pathetic tries!

Limericks hosted by Curiosity Killed the Bookworm

For today's challenge, I'd like you to write me a bookish or bloggish limerick.
A limerick is basically a 5 line poem, where lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyme and lines 3 and 4 rhyme, along with other rules that you may wish to break.

Reading can be an escape
Reality is hidden behind a large drape
And the life where you once thrived
Suddenly can't be contrived
And now you wait for your hidden world to take shape

Relocate hosted by The Grammarian's Rules
Use your current read. Now relocate the characters! How does this change the story?
What book are you reading, where does it take place, and where is it going to relocate?

I am reading the Gallagher Girls Series by Ally Carter which takes place in Virginia, in a mansion turned spy school.
I think I'm going to relocate the characters to Russia where it will be so much harder to keep a secret. Can you imagine trying to run an American spy school in Russia. Yeah this could be fun!

Character Interaction hosted by Once Upon A Time
The Character Interaction challenge pretty much does what it says on the tin: take two characters from separate works of literature and show us how you’d imagine them interacting. Write it as a very short piece of fiction and don’t worry if you don’t think you’re much of a writer – it’s all in the name of fun! Just roll with it. Now think about these characters’ personalities. Are they strong willed or the quiet types? Would they fight? Kiss? Get drunk?

I decided to take Cammie Morgan from The Gallagher Girls Series by Ally Carter and Bella Kirkwood from The Charmed Life Series by Jenny B. Jones

Cammie Morgan was starting to get frustrated. For some reason this teenage girl had been following her for the last ten minutes. Not that Cammie couldn't very easily lose the tag-along, but curiosity had gotten the best of her. She knew she wasn't a Gallagher girl (none of them were allowed THAT bad of a tail!), and she was definitely American. Finally letting her curious side take over Cammie spun around and confronted the girl.
"Who are you? And why are you following me?" she demanded. The girl looked slightly taken aback but recovered quickly.
"Bella Kirkwood." An outstretched hand accompanied this statement and thanks to Madame Dabney's rigorous training Cammie knew she had to take it.
"Cassie" No way was she gonna just tell this stranger her real name!
"Nice to meet you. Now as for why  I'm following you. My editor-I work at our school newspaper-is convinced I need to work on my tailing skills and based on how quickly you caught me, I guess he's right. Ten minutes is pretty bad."
Cammie debated telling Bella that it had taken all of 15 seconds for her to spot her and that she could have lost her just as fast. But, A: That would make Bella feel even worse about herself-how was she to know she picked a spy-in-training to stalk?, and, B: Admitting that she had that much skill was sure to raise questions. So she decided to just to let it go.
"Well I hope you have fun practicing, but I've got to go. Bye!"
"Thanks! Bye!" Bella waved then started walking away.

Yea, an American spy school in Russia probably wouldn't go over so well! It'd be fun to see if they'd meet any Russian spies, though. :)
