The Question:
Do you cull your list often or do people stay on once they get on?
My Answer:
Since last week's question was about blogs you follow and this question was submitted by the same person I'm going to assume that is the list referred to in this question! And my answer is neither of those, I occasionally cull my list but it isn't all that often.

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."
To Jesse Bird's reckoning, any man charged with with driving forty head of Overmountain cattle to market best have three things in his possession-a primed rifle, a steady horse, and a heap of staying power.

My Thoughts
Great beginning! Well written, slightly humorous, and some details about what type of story is coming!

Although I do sometimes remove blogs I don't enjoy anymore, I tend not to. I really like the beginning, although it has a distinct Western vibe to it. Haven't read anything like that, well...ever I think. So I might have to check it out! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

I keep my lists as they are, love having followers to the blog, makes it all worthwhile :-) xx
I don't cull my list of followers. I once unfollow some blogs. But they're blogs that do not update anymore. :)
This sounds interesting. I love the picture that is painted with a fairly short sentence.
Two in one here.
I don't cull my list of bloggers.
What great imagery...I love the writing. Hope it is enjoyable.

My Book Beginnings
I like the word choices by the author in the opening: "a heap of staying power." I enjoy Western books (romances, mysteries, whatever) so I'd like this one.
Here's the link to my Friday post: SIX MONTHS IN MONTANA.
I never cull my blog followers or any of the blogs that I follow!
kipha- :)
Juli-It's pretty good so far! It's not really your typical western since it is actually set in the mountains of North Carolina but it does have that feel to it!
Sharon-Followers are great!
Aizel-I don't cull my list of followers either but I do occasionally stop following blogs that no longer interest me.
Fiza- :)
Katherine- Me too!
Elizabeth-It is so far!
Sandra-They are pretty great word choices!
Billy-Good for you!
