The Question:
Should book bloggers be doing more to support bookshops rather than just give links to Amazon or B&N as a place to buy the printed version of books they read?
My Answer:
While I do think it's nice to support your local bookstores most are only in certain areas so they aren't relevant to everyone. Since blogs are online and can be read anywhere it only makes sense that they advertise for online stores that are also able to be accessed by everyone!

It had to be an April Fools' joke. Any second, Sally would laugh and tell Kate to turn the car around, that they weren't really going to spend a month that-if the front gate was any indication-was in desperate need of an extreme makeover.

My Thoughts
Pretty good beginning. It made me keep reading to find out just how bad this place was!
