About the Book

My Thoughts
After reading a novella by this author I was excited for the chance to read one of her novels. Thankfully her writing continued to be great and this was a very sweet story.
Kat and Lucas were both great characters. And even though I occasionally wanted to smack them and make them aware of their feelings for each other I totally understood them not wanting to risk so many years of friendship. I thought is was so cute how they always seemed to know what the other was thinking, feeling, or needing.
The cupcake contest was a fun background for the story and it was fun to hear all the different cupcakes they created. Though I will warn you that you will crave cupcakes!
All in all this was a great read that I recommend if you enjoy a light, entertaining read!

This book included a recipe for cupcakes in the back and it sounded relatively easy so I gave it a shot! They were pretty good though not as pretty as I hoped!
