It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #57

Here is what I finished last week:

I finally finished the five books that I have been in the middle one and even read a sixth! Needless to say I'm pretty proud of my reading this week! All of these books were vastly different from each other but I still enjoyed them all!

What I am currently reading:

I've barely started this but I'm sure I will enjoy it as much as the other two in this series!

What I hope to read this week:

I'm super excited about finally getting to read Shattered! I have been waiting anxiously for it since I finished the last page of Submerged! I'm also looking forward to The Apothecary's Daughter, but since it's a buddy read I probably won't actually finish it until next week but who knows?!

I can't live without...
Well there are the obvious answers of the things we can't physically live without but I'm going to skip those and go with books. I honestly think I'd go crazy if I wasn't able to read. Reading calms me when I'm angry, sad, had my fill of people, etc.

Do you make your bed each morning?
Nope. I like to lounge on my bed when I read and that sometimes includes going under covers. Also I just don't see the point of making it every morning just to unmake it at night. I do make it when company is coming but other than that I go the lazy way!

City or Country?
Definitely country! While it can be slightly annoying to be at least 20 mins from everything, I wouldn't want to live in the city at all. We currently live on 54 acres and I love it! I love the freedom, the safe feeling, and being able to see so much of God's beautiful creation!

Most embarrassing moment?
I can't really think of any besides the kiss story I shared last month. I'm really shy so I can get embarrassed by the smallest things but I can't think of any big ones!

What do you think of book trailers?
I don't like most book trailers. The majority actually make me not want to read the book, but there are some good ones out there. The best ones I've seen are Ronie Kendig's!

My Thoughts
I love the imagery in this beginning! It is beautifully crafted and you can almost feel yourself in the same place. And at the same time it also draws you in to wonder how Errol got where he is! Great start!

Why I Want It

I have loved each of the Lynette Eason books I've read including the first in this series! I haven't found time to read book 2 yet but I'm sure as I do I will be wanting this one right away!

Here is what I finished last week:

I actually managed to get two of my books finished this week! I thought I'd have a lot more reading time this week since most of my fam was on a mission trio but I ended up being busy for most of the week!

What I am currently reading:

Ok I am really going to make an effort to finish all of these this week! I have a total of about 936 pages combined left so it hopefully won't be too difficult!

What I hope to read this week:
I don't think I'll get more than finishing the ones I've started but if I have time I'll be reading the next two Sandra Byrd books!

Is there anything you would like to say to or ask your favorite author?
My favorite author is Susan May Warren and I'd thank her for writing so many amazing books so quickly and I'd ask her how she can come up with so many versatile ideas/genres and write them all so well!

Are you a dreamer or a realist?
I am a major realist!!

Theater or Rental?
We don't do too much of either since my mom usually likes to buy the movies, but I do like seeing certain movies in theater especially the action ones!

Share a family tradition.
We have a decent amount of traditions but the most consistent and probably my favorite is that on Christmas morning, before any presents are allowed to be opened, my dad reads the Christmas story from Luke.

Favorite late night snack? 
I'm a crazy night owl so I have a decent amount of snacks that I go to, one of my favs is tuna with mayo on Wheat Thin crackers!
