Characters Live On

As I conclude our look at Lewis' characters, I want to discuss his end of the Narnia saga - The Last Battle.  In this book, Lewis kills off nearly every single character he wrote about, yet they live on in the minds of millions of Narnia fans.  Why?  I believe the key is their uniqueness.

The more you know about a character, the more unique you can make them.  I found a site with a neat character questionaire: http://www.inspired2write.com/sjl/sjl6.html, but there are many others available.

I have many deadlines next week, so my posting should be a bit spotty.

Hi Katie, nice site you have here. I've seen some of your posts over at *F*i*F* and Christianwriter.com and decided to check out your blog. Well done and nice review style. Keep up the good work! Do you have a web site too?

p.s. We're kind of neighbors - I'm from Pittsburgh.

Thanks for your comments. No, I don't have a website yet. This blog is a sort of test run for the site and email newsletter I plan to start when I get a book contract. I do hope to keep this going, though. It's nice to meet someone from nearby!
