Landon Snow and the Island of Arcanum

Nope, this isn't the book I mentioned yesterday. I should post about that tomorrow. Actually, I haven't read Landon Snow and the Island of Arcanum yet. It's book three in the Landon Snow series by R. K. Mortenson and I haven't read book two yet. But I am interested in reading it, as I've heard there are some Voyage of the Dawn Treader-ish elements included.

I just lent out my copy of the first Landon Snow book (Landon Snow and the Auctor's Riddle) to a fantasy-hungry 9-year-old.

Thanks, Katie! Island of Arcanum is my ode to Dawn Treader, being a sea-faring adventure and all (and because Dawn Treader is my favorite Narnia book). It's also dedicated to the Navy and the Marine Corps, whom I served with over the last 8 years as a chaplain.

Blessings,
R.K. Mortenson

Whoo-hoo! A fantasy-hungry 9-year-old. I love it! Fantasy is sooooo popular now. Have you been in a borders lately in the children's section? Series after series. About all kinds of things.

Ah, for more like Randy's.
