CSFF Tour - The Shadow and Night

This week the Christian Science Fiction Fantasy blog tour is featuring The Shadow and Night by Chris Walley. I've barely started this huge 600-page epic, but I'm enjoying it so far. Its scope reminds me of Lord of the Rings, but instead of reaching far back with the imagination to Middle Earth, this tale reaches far forward. Eleven THOUSAND years forward.

It was hard to get my mind around the time frame. Eleven thousand years. When even 100 years is an amazing length of time for anything if importance to survive (like a house, or a book), eleven thousand just had my head spinning.
