The Question:
What was the last book you read from a genre you don't normally read?
My Answer:
Stress Test by Richard L. Mabry. It was a medical story and I usually avoid those since I have a rather weak stomach and get grossed out very easily. I enjoyed it though there were a few scenes I skimmed!

Katherine was going to die. And Amelia could do nothing to prevent it.
The Heiress of Winterwood by Sarah Ladd
My Thoughts
Great opening! Definitely draws you in and makes you want to keep reading!

Ooh I can't tell the last medical based book I read - though I'm not purposely avoiding that genre.
Wow! That's a great opening! :)
The last medical book I read was Contagion about 14 years ago, so I don't normally read that genre either. It's not that I don't like to, I just like other genres better.
