The Question:
What was last book you read that made you cry?
My Answer:
It's kinda amusing that this is the question for this week since I just did Top Ten Books That Made Me Cry on Tuesday! But the last one that made me cry was A Distant Melody by Sarah Sundin! Such an amazing book!

Hans had stolen all the egg money-again.
Annalisa Werner's chapped fingers trembled against the frayed edge of the apron she'd turned into a basket. The burden of walnuts stretched the thin linen so that it seemed to groan in protest.
A Noble Groom by Jody Hedlund
My Thoughts
Beautifully written start! It makes you so mad at Hans right away and introduces compassion for Annalisa!

Stealing the egg money is not nice.
Book Beginning
Sounds like Annalisa needs to find a better hiding place for the egg money! Here's my Friday Post.
Oh, I definitely want to read "A Distant Melody"! I've heard of "A Noble Groom", and already have it on my Goodreads TBR list. However, the other book is new to me. I really like the story, so I've added it to my list, as well!
Thanks for sharing!! :)
I added Distant Melody to my list. It sounds like a great book.
The Book Beginnings meme looks interesting. I might just start doing it next Friday.
My answer
Going to need to check out Distant Melody.
I just got back in to town and missed all the fun. Going to try to visit everyone...better late than never I guess. :)
