Bout of Books 7.0 Day 1: Challenge

Bout of Books

Book Spine Poetry hosted by Escape Through the Pages

The goal of this challenge is to create a poem using the titles of books you own. It can be any topic and any number of books. You can use other words but you can only use as many extra words as you have books!

Here's mine!

If We Survive
Against All Odds
I long to
Flee the Night
and
To See the Sun
Unrivaled
For there are
Whispers
Secrets
and
Danger in the Shadows

That's a great one! Mine was difficult. I didn't feel like taking down any books so I just took a pic of part of my bookshelf and worked with it. It could be a lot better, but this is what I came up with at 130 in the morning. haha.

I love your spine poetry so much. It honestly sounds SO POETIC (haha, I can't think of better descriptions right now - so tired!) and I love how well the last three titles flow together. Great job!

I loved your poem, it has quite an atmosphere... so dark and ominous. ;)

Have a good read-a-thon! :D
