Ty Porter has always been irresistible to Celia Park. All through high school--irresistible. When their paths cross again after college--still irresistible. This time, though, Ty seems to feel exactly the same way about Celia. Their whirlwind romance deposits them at a street-corner Las Vegas wedding chapel.
The next morning they wake to a marriage certificate and a dose of cold reality. Celia's ready to be Ty's wife, but Ty's not ready to be her husband. He's a professional bull rider, he lives on the road, and he's long planned to settle down with the hometown girl he's known since childhood.
Five and a half years pass. Celia's buried her dreams so that she can afford to raise her daughter. Ty's achieved all of his goals. Or thought he had, until he looks again into the eyes of the woman he couldn't forget and into the face of the child he never knew he had.
How much will Ty sacrifice to win back Celia's trust and prove to her that their spontaneous marriage can still become the love of a lifetime?

My Thoughts
Oh my goodness this book was amazing! I had a dopey grin on my face the entire time I was reading it and I hated putting it down!
Ty and Celia were imperfectly perfect and I loved them! I waffled between wanting to smack them upside the head and wanting give them a hug and be their best friend! It was slightly painful to watch them try to convince themselves that they didn't belong together, but it was was also slightly amusing! I loved getting to know Ty better. To the naked eye he was a shallow, womanizing, reckless man, but he was actually the opposite! I think I melted at the fact that he hadn't even kissed anyone in the five and a half years that he'd been married to but separated from Celia. I also loved how giving he was, how devoted he was to Addie, and how well he knew Celia without being told things. Celia was great too, definitely perfect for Ty, she was the voice of reason in his life and she grounded him. I kept wanting her to just give in and be with Ty but at the same time I completely understood her reasons for keeping him at arms length and kinda admire her ability to do so.
Addie was a fun kid and I was really happy the author made her cute without making her obnoxious which often happens when there's a little kid in the story!
It was fun to see the rest of the Porter family again, especially Bo and Meg!
In short, this book was amazing and I highly recommend it! I wouldn't say you have to read the first book first but I would recommend doing so!
During her childhood in California, Becky frequently produced homemade plays starring her sisters, friends, and cousins. These plays almost always featured a heroine, a prince, and a love story with a happy ending. She's been a fan of all things romantic ever since.
Becky and her husband lived overseas in the Caribbean and Australia before settling in Dallas, Texas. It was during her years abroad that Becky's passion for reading turned into a passion for writing. She published three historical romances with Avon Books, then put her career on hold for several years to care for her kids, then recently returned to writing sheerly for the love of it. She felt led to move to the genre of contemporary Christian romance and couldn't be more thrilled with it.
These days Becky can be found failing but trying to keep up with her housework, sweating at the gym, carting her kids around town, playing tennis, hunched over her computer, eating chocolate, or collapsed on the sofa watching TV with her husband.

Heidi-Thank you! Undeniably Yours was great too-though I liked this one best!
Out of the two this one was my favorite, but I am looking forward to the next book which is Jake's story. Jake is slowly becoming my favorite Porter.
Carissa-I'm looking forward to Jake's book too!
I've picked this book up before, but put it down again because I wasn't sure. But now I might give it a whirl!
Jessica-I did the same thing with this author's 2nd book but I gave it another shot and loved it and this one!
