Friday Memes 8/28

Book Blogger Hop

The Question:
What time of the year does your library have its library sale?

My Answer:
Random question...I don't really know!

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."

I am a knight.
Strong like steal.
Ready to conquer any foe.
Energy surges through me, striving to burst out my skin. The moment is ripe.
Chivalrous by Dina L. Sleiman

My Thoughts
LOVE this beginning! Totally captures my attention, sucks me in, and sweeps me away!

Your library may not have a sale if you aren't aware of it.

Ours is always in the summer.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Hopping!!

As much as I read, you would be surprised to know that I don't have a library membership. I really must look into that!!!

Happy Friday!

Sounds interesting. Is it told in verse or does it just have short sentences? I'm finishing up an urban fantasy series this week with Total Eclipse by Rachel Caine. Happy reading!

That's an unusual beginning. I'd keep reading to find out more about this knight and his quest.
My Friday post features Taming Jenna.

My libraries are all university libraries nowadays, so there are no sales there! I really like that beginning as well, it's like a mantra! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week!

Elizabeth-It does I just haven't paid a lot of attention to it since I mainly read Christian Fiction and they don't have a lot of that.

Sherrie-It is!

Shannah-I have one but I don't really use it since I have so many review books to read and don't really have time for others!

Kathy-This is just the prologue, she starts her books with a first person account like this then switches to third person for the rest!

Sandra-It is!

Juli-That's sad. Thanks!

I probably wouldn't know when our library has its sale if it wasn't an ongoing sale. I have never been, just the same.

The intro you shared was a good one!

here's my response to the Book Blogger Hop question this week: http://www.literaryfeline.com/2015/09/beyond-books-favorite-teachersmentors.html
