Top Ten Characters I Wish I Could Check-In With

#1. The O'Conners from Julie Lessman's O'Conner Family Saga-I will never get tired of this family and I will never not want to check in with them! They are my favorite!

#2. The Novak Brothers from Sarah Sundin's Wings of Glory Series-They are just so absolutely amazing and I would love to see how their lives look a bit down the road!

#3. The Forellis from Lisa T. Bergren's River of Time Series-Yes we got an epilogue but I still would love to read more about them!

#4. The Archer Brothers from Karen Witemeyer's books-I was so happy that we got each of the brothers stories and it would be so much fun to see how they played out!

#5. The O'Malley Family from Dee Henderson's O'Malley Series-I lost track of how many times I read these books and I loved all of the characters so much so obviously it would be awesome to see what their futures held.

Top Ten Authors Who Deserve More Recognition

So it's really hard to do top ten of this because in truth almost all authors deserve more recognition especially in the Christian genre. That being said I will try to pick just ten and they will be ten that I love but don't really hear too many people talking about! Note: These are just in the order I thought of them not in order of favorites!

#1. Susan May Warren-I do feel like more recently she's gotten more recognition but there are still so many people who have no idea who I'm talking about when I say she's my favorite author.

#2. Jenny B. Jones-Her book are laugh out loud funny and so good! It baffles me why more people don't read her books!

#3. Sarah Sundin-This is a newer author discovery for me and I can not believe it took me this long to read her books. The three that I've read were amazing and I absolutely adored them!

#4. Jen Turano-A newer author who is amazing! I thoroughly loved both of her books and cannot wait for the third!

#5. Roseanna M. White-I've only read one book and a novella of hers so far but they are amazingly good ones that I highly recommend! Really surprised that it took me this long to really find her!

#6. Dani Pettrey-Another newer author who's books I love! Great romantic suspense!

#7. Ronie Kendig-Such brilliantly gripping romantic suspense! I get so excited when a new book comes out and devour them as soon as I get them. They are some of the few books that I've actually preordered!

#8. Jody Hedlund-This author writes so beautifully it's impossible to not love her books! I even loved the one that was a genre I don't like! That's the sign of a great author!

#9. Karen Witemeyer-Some of the best western books ever! I love all 5 of her books so much!

#10. Cathy Marie Hake-I'll be the first to admit that I don't love all of her books but I do love quite a few of them and they are some of my all-time favorite books!

Top Ten Book Covers of Books I've Read

The River of Time Series by Lisa T. Bergren

I just all around absolutely love these covers! They are extremely well done and look really cool! I have to say that I'm partial to Tributary's mainly since Luca is my favorite!

Karen Witemeyer's Novels

I full on love each of Karen Witemeyer's covers! They perfectly combine prettiness with a bit of humor. I also like how the dresses that the girls are wearing on the covers match dresses that are mentioned in the books!

Wings of Glory Series by Sarah Sundin

I'm a sucker for WWII stories and pictures so I can't help but loving these covers. But beyond that they are just really well done covers!

A Lasting Impression by Tamera Alexander

This cover is just simply beautiful! From the girl, to the dress, to the hair, to the background, it's perfect!

The Lady of Bolton Hill by Elizabeth Camden

In case you didn't guess I'm also a sucker for covers with beautiful dresses on them! I loved this cover from the moment I saw it and it made me want to read the book before I even knew what it was about!

The Anniversary Waltz by Darrel Nelson

I can't really explain why, I just love this cover!
