Paige Turned by Erynn Mangum

This week, the
Christian Fiction Blog Alliance
is introducing
Paige Turned
TH1NK (April 1, 2014)
by
Erynn Mangum

MY THOUGHTS:
While I loved the first two books in this series I'm thinking this one might be my favorite! It was the perfect ending to a great series! There were so many funny moments that had me laughing out loud and also a bunch of very sweet moments that made me smile. This book was just such a fun relaxing read and I had it finished in one day. I once again loved all the characters especially Paige, Tyler, Rick, and Layla. I'm trying not to say too much since it's the last book and I really don't want to spoil anything from the previous two books, but I will say that it was a fantastic read that left me with a big smile on my face! I highly recommend this series and I can't wait to go read her previous series now!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
A few things about her:
So, if we were having this conversation in person, we would probably be hanging out at Starbucks or one of the cute coffeehouses in town. I’m nuts about all things coffee, I’m crazy about all things pink and girly, and I love, love, love the Food Network! I’m married to my best friend and the most amazing guy ever, Jon. He is amiable toward coffee, does not like anything pink or girly and tolerates the Food Network. So, we make a good match! In July 2010, we became parents to one of the funniest, cutest, sweetest little guys in the whole world (and nope, we aren’t biased at all!), our Nater-Tot, who is legally known as Nathan. Most days, I’m cleaning up messes, making goofy faces, trying to fit some writing in, and just LOVING the life that God has given me!

ABOUT THE BOOK
Despite her valiant efforts, Paige Alder seems stuck in chaos. Her new job as youth intern keeps her hopping from coffee shop to coffee shop all summer long, but at least she’s loving the one-on-one time she gets to spend with the girls. The unfortunate side-effect is that now, four weeks of laundry fills her apartment. Plus, she barely has time to help her sister and best friend with their weddings! And even worse? Something is definitely wrong between her and Tyler. She apologized for what he thought he saw happen with Luke. Can’t they move past it? Or could there be something he’s not telling her—something that could change everything?

Paige Rewritten by Erynn Mangum

This week, the

Paige Rewritten

MY THOUGHTS:
This was a great sequel to Paige Torn! I loved reading more about all the characters from the first book and watching how their lives were playing out. There were lots of new twists in Paige's life and I did not envy her in the least. This author once again did an amazing job of writing a book that drew me in, had me constantly reading more to find out what happened, and made me laugh a lot! After the way this book ended though I want to read Paige Turned right now!!
(Sorry for the short review it's just so hard to write reviews for series that are so connected they could easily be read as one book without giving stuff away!)

ABOUT THE BOOK

Paige Alder is in a really good place. She’s dating nice guy Tyler. Her boss has offered her a raise. Her walk with God is strong. Life is great—and that’s when things start to change.

First, the youth pastor at church keeps asking Paige to work with him full-time. Then her sister shows up newly engaged and wanting to reconnect, even though they haven’t spoken in years. And now former boyfriend Luke has come back into her life. How is Paige supposed to know what the right decisions are?

This warm and humorous second book in the Paige Alder series will help young girls work through important issues, such as forgiving others and obeying God.

Paige Torn by Erynn Mangum

Erynn Mangum

MY THOUGHTS:
I have been hearing about how good Erynn Mangum's books are for quite awhile now so when this one came up for review I jumped at the chance to read it. My friends were right in saying this author is good! I absolutely loved this book! Paige was a great character that I really could relate to, there were so many things we had in common! I love when I find books like that! The other characters were also pretty cool especially Tyler. He was such an awesome guy, and really he's perfect for Paige! I could not believe all the things Paige had going in her life! Just reading about it was making me slightly crazy, though I could relate to her difficulty with saying no. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I can't wait for book two!

ABOUT THE BOOK
Everyone knows they can count on Paige Alder. But between volunteering at church, putting in overtime at work, and helping her best friend plan an anniversary party, she's lucky to grab a cheese stick for dinner. Paige can't even remember the last time she had a few minutes to relax or dig into God's Word. Then she meets laid-back Tyler, an attractive, Jesus-loving guy. Will he be able to help Paige get her priorities on track?
