Top Ten Classics That I Want to Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

So this weeks actual topic was Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character but since I already did Top Ten Fictional Cowboys and Top Ten Male Characters it seemed a little redundant so I just made one up on my own and decided to list ten classics that I want to read!

The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Little Men by Louisa May Alcott
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens

I loved Wuthering Heights, although not everyone likes it. I hope you enjoy it :)

I've read 6 of those. Wuthering Heights, which I loved, Les Mis (both the 1500 page novel and an abridged one that is just the story), Great Gatsby (shudder. really did not like it.), Portrait of Dorian Grey (it was strange), Sherlock Holmes (another favorite), and Christmas Carol (I still cry when I read it).

This is a great list!

One of my goals this year was to read 5 classics. I'm not doing so well ... but we're just a few months into the year, right?! Little Women (re-read), Little Men, and Jo's Boys are at the top of my list. :) The Great Gatsby is one of my all-time favorites that I "had" to read for school. Hope you get to it sooner rather than later!
