Friday Memes 10/9

Book Blogger Hop

The Question:
What's your favorite "Halloween" snack to munch on while you're reading?

My Answer:
It's cliche but probably candy corn or those little pumpkins!

When it comes to burning bridges, I am the Queen of Kerosene.
Puffing out a wispy sigh, Lacey Carmichael squinted into the review mirror to make sure the coast was clear, then dragged her her bulging purse onto the seat with an unladylike grunt.
Isle of Hope by Julie Lessman

My Thoughts
Love! Especially that first sentence!

Queen of Kerosene -- That's so clever! I already like this author's writing style, just from reading the first sentence.

I think I've done that before...hefted my huge purse onto a counter with a big grunt. Ha!

Perfect Halloween reading snack, but I actually do not like either candy corn or the pumpkins. :) I love how cute the pumpkins are, though.

ENJOY your weekend.

Happy Hopping!!

That is a very clever first sentence!

I'm a big fan of candy corn mixed with salted peanuts.

Thanks for participating in BBOF! I don't often get around to everyone to leave a comment, but I am always happy when you share your book beginning!
