I would definitely pick Luca Forelli from Lisa T. Bergren's River of Time Series! He's got it all-looks, humor, bravery, kindness, etc.

Bestie

This one was a little harder but I think I'd go with Lucy Wiltshire as my best friend! She is fun quirky and just enough of a geek/nerd!
