Top Ten Books I Enjoyed That Have Under 200 Ratings On Goodreads

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This week's topic is meant to highlight some underrated books that are still really good! It is supposed to be books that have under 2000 ratings on goodreads, but since the Christian fiction market is a much smaller than the mainstream one about 3/4 of my books had under 2000 ratings. So I instead decided to feature books that had less than 200!

#1. Hollywood Nobody Series by Lisa Samson

#2. Brides of Simpson Creek by Laurie Kingery,

#3. Happy to Be Alive, Because by Chelsea Jacobs

#4. Jupiter Winds by C.J. Darlington

#5. Of Love and War Series by Stacy Henrie

#6. Waltham Academy Series by Laura Jackson

#7. Cowboy Christmas by Catherine Palmer, Lisa Harris, & Linda Goodnight

#. 8. Miracle Girls Series by Anne Dayton & May Vanderbilt

#9. The Anniversary Waltz by Darrel Nelson

#10. Yesterday's Tomorrow by Catherine West

Top Ten New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2014

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

I read a lot of really good books by new-to-me authors this year but these are the ten that stuck out the most!

Kate Breslin-Her debut novel For Such a Time blew me away and I can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us!

Jill Williamson-It is sad how long it took me to read books by this author but I am loving her Safe Lands novels and I will be definitely reading her other books!

Victoria Bylin-I absolutely loved Until I Found You and I am very excited about her upcoming release!

Patricia Bradley-Both of her books that released this year were exceptional suspense novels and I am really looking forward to the chance to read book three next year.

C.J. Darlington-I'd heard about this author a lot through my sister who is friends with her but I hadn't read any of her books till Jupiter Winds which I devoured! I really hope there are going to be more books in that series!

Mary Weber-I loved her debut Storm Siren and I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series so I can find out what happened!

Kristy Cambron-Another beautiful debut that totally captured me! A brilliant mix of past and present!

Laura Jackson-I was a little surprised by how much I loved Worth the Wait though I really shouldn't have been! The hero of the story is probably one of my favorites that I read in 2015

Joanne Bischof-After hearing good things about this author I finally picked up her first book and I loved it! Now I just have to go buy the next two in the series!

Chelsea Jacobs-This debut author wrote such a poignant story and it has really stuck with me!

Unfortunately, her summer full of experiences threatens to end abruptly when she realizes that one of the three has a secret that causes her to question everything about the new life she has been building. My Thoughts
If I was to sum up this book in one word it would be beautiful. That was what I kept thinking as I devoured page after page every spare chance I had yesterday. I didn't know what to expect going in since this is a debut author whom I hadn't heard of before getting the email about reviewing her book, but I absolutely loved it! Chelsea had a brilliant way of making you feel every emotion and even brought tears to my eyes a couple times. I loved Avery and my heart broke for her. I felt like we had a bit of similarities in our personalities and that just made me love her even more. And Rob was fantastic and I loved how he always seemed to know when to say things and when to just be there without saying anything. The author did a fantastic job of making him endearing while still keeping bits of a teenage guy in there. I also loved Major and Lily and how great of friends they were. There were several little surprises at the end and I loved them all like I loved just about every minute of this book! I especially loved the idea of a Happy to be Alive, Because... journal and I just may start one of my own. If you are a fan of amazing books then I highly recommend this one and I cannot wait to see what else this author has for us!
P.S. I just adore this cover! Don't you?!
