Book Beginnings: Wonderland Creek

Hosted by: Rose City Reader
After I discovered that Book Blogger Hop was cancelled I needed something to fill my Friday slot. This fit perfect and looks like a lot of fun!

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."

Wonderland Creek by Lynn Austin
"If my life were a book, no one would read it. People would say it was too boring, too predictable. A story told a million times. But I was perfectly content with my life-that is, until the pages of my life were ripped out before I had a chance to live happily ever after"

My Thoughts
This was a great opening! It immediately introduced you to the core of  the main character, and how she relates everything to books. It also really made you continue reading to figure out what she meant. Loved it!
