The Question:
What is most important to you when you are deciding to read a book?
My Answer:
It's all about the synopsis for me! If a book sounds like something I would enjoy then I will most likely pick it up to read!

How in the world had rain earned such a romantic rep? Kate Walker tipped the collar of her jacket an burrowed her chin against the chilly afternoon's heavy breathing.

My Thoughts
I love that first sentence! It's cute, quirky, and exactly what I would expect from a Melissa Tagg novel! I also love the imagery of the second, "chilly afternoon's heavy breathing".

It is a good start. I agree with her thoughts on rain.
Love that beginning! I agree about rain. I've never found anything the slightest bit romantic in it especially if I have to be outside in it!
Good point about the blurb! I'll always read a blurb before putting it on my TBR list or picking it up at a store.
Here are my Friday Book Memes.
I like "chilly afternoon's heavy breathing" too. Such clever description. If this is representative of the rest of the writing in the book, I'd definitely enjoy it.
My Friday post features WHAT WE KEEP.
The genre is the most important for me and of course the synopsis.
ENJOY your weekend.
Happy Hopping!!

The synopsis is also important to me when I select a new book. It has to grab my attention. Nice answer and have a great week!

JC Jones-It is an amusing thought!
Katherine-Yeah I'm not much for being in the rain either!
samannelizabeth-I always read what a book is about before even considering reading it!
Sandra-Clever is a perfect description of Melissa's writing! Her books are amazing!
Elizabeth-I'm willing to venture outside of my genre comfort zone if the description intrigues me enough!
Kathy-Thanks!
