Friday Memes 9/25

Book Blogger Hop

The Question:
Do you belong to Shelfari, Goodreads, LibraryThing, and other similar sites? If so, can you list all off the book sites you belong to so others can take a look at them?

My Answer:
The only one I'm a part of is Goodreads though I do use a nifty app called Libib to catalogue my books!

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."

They say the best things in life are free. Well, whoever "they" are, they obviously never tried to walk out of a Wal-Mart with one of those cool Duck Dynasty shirts-with Uncle Si's beard plastered from top to bottom like a follicular monument to rednecks everywhere-without paying for it. Don't say the customer is always right if you don't mean it.
Diary of a Jackwagon by Tim Hawkins

My Thoughts
Tim Hawkins is one of the funniest people ever and the beginning of this book has me laughing out loud! Seriously, if you like to laugh you have to check this book out!

I will have to check out Libib as well because I actually want to keep track of what I'm reading now and how quickly! The beginning does sound really funny although I'm not a big Duck Dynasty fan! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

Lol...I've been to Wal-Mart plenty and seen the Duck Dynasty Tshirts so I know what the author is talking about - love the beginning. Here's My Book Beginnings and Friday 56
