The Question:
Do you believe audio books are the future and why do believe?
My Answer:
Since I really dislike audio books I really hope not but I also just don't think they will be. Sure they can be convenient at times but not always.

Sixteen-year-old Meg felt the hair on the back of her neck prick to attention. She looked around the student parking lot and shivered, even though she'd worked up a good sweat at basketball practice.

Meg, honey, that's why you carry a baseball bat to basketball practice! Cue the scary movie music!
Here's my Book Beginnings.
I don't dislike audios, but I don't listen that often. Print is my first choice.
Happy Hopping!!

Why do you dislike audios?

I, too, really dislike audiobooks so it's glad to find other like-minded folks!

I don't listen to many audiobooks as they aren't my preferred reading format. I think they have their uses though, and I have enjoyed a number of them over the last few years.
LuAnn- :)
Teri-I hate being read to, always have. I read rather fast and the speed that they are read at is so slow which irritates me. Plus I'm a visual learner!
Lulu-Yeah I feel like we are a rare breed!
Literary Feline-They do have their uses and I wish I could enjoy them but sadly I can't.
