"Waiting on" Wednesday #4: Short Straw Bride

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer
Bethany House Publishers-June 1, 2012

About the Book
No one steps on Archer land. Not if they value their life. But when Meredith Hayes overhears a lethal plot to burn the Archer brothers off their ranch, a twelve-year-old debt compels her to take the risk.
Fourteen years of constant vigilance hardens a man. Yet when Travis Archer confronts a female trespasser with the same vivid blue eyes as the courageous young girl he once aided, he can't bring himself to send her away. And when an act of sacrifice leaves her injured and her reputation in shreds, gratitude and guilt send him riding to her rescue once again.
Four brothers. Four straws. One bride. Despite the fact that Travis is no longer the gallant youth Meredith once dreamed about, she determines to stand by his side against the enemy that threatens them both. But will love ever be hers? Or will Travis always see her merely as a short-straw bride?

Why I Want It
I've loved the two books that I have read by this author and have her third in my TBR pile. And besides that this book sounds so good and funny that I can't wait till I get to read it!

Not gonna lie, this one sounds really awesome! I love romantic-comedy type stories AND westerns too even though I don't read them too often! Thanks for the heads-up ;)

Short-Straw Bride had a very fun and different story plot from what I have been reading recently--so a delightful change of pace for me! All in all, I loved it. Each book that I have read by Witemeyer, I have fully and completely enjoyed, and Short-Straw Bride is no exception.
