Friday Memes 3/15

The Question:
Time to take a seat on the director's chair! If you could turn one of your favorite books into a film, who would you cast?

My Answer:
I decided to try to cast one of my favorite series of all time, The River of Time Series. I tend to not be the best at actually imagining characters in my head so forgive me if the actors I pick don't match what you were thinking. Also I can't exactly vouch for the actual acting ability of all four of these but they just look like what I imagined! If you have a better pick I'd love to know who so leave your opinion in the comments!

Marcello (Luca Argentero) Gabi (Victoria Justice)

Luca (Alex Pettyfer) Lia (Eliza Bennet)

Hosted by: Rose City Reader

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."

If she moved, would she die? Serena Hopkins kept her eyes shut and lay as still as possible in the king-sized bed, doing her best to keep her breathing even.
When A Heart Stops by Lynette Eason

My Thoughts
Great attention grabbing start! I loved it and immediately dived in for more. Lynette Eason does not disappoint when it comes to suspense!

They look like "beautiful" people to cast in any movie. :)

Love your choices, Abbi! :)

Wow! What an awesome opening!!! I completely agree, Lynette doesn't give you a chance to get complacent or even catch your breath! Love that! :) I can't wait to read this one but I've still gotta read the first one!
I think "When The Smoke Clears" just went to the top of my TBR pile!!! :)

Caitlyn-Thanks! Yeah you really should read When the Smoke Clears soon-it's so good! And I love the fact that the main character in this book (When a Heart Stops) is the ME from the Women of Justice series!

Oh good for you, getting pictures! I thought about it, but didn't quite get around to putting that together...
