Friday Memes 5/3

The Question:

What was the last book you read that was recommended by someone else?
Did you like it?

My Answer:
This is actually rather hard for me! I stay on top of new releases and I know way in advance about the books coming out so it's really hard to find ones that were actually recommended to me. The most recent one I can think of (which was like at least 2 years ago) is Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren. And anyone who visits this blog often knows that I absolutely loved it!

Being named in Great-Grandma's will was like hitting Bankrupt on Wheel of Fortune. The whole family held their breath while the wheel ticked around and around-or rather, while the lawyer opened the envelope. Then they all heaved a sigh of relief when the wheel stopped on Carrie's name.
Carrie the heiress. Great.
Clean up the house.
Clean up the yard.
Clean up Great-Grandma's rap sheet.
Bury the Lead by Mary Nealy (also published as Of Mice...and Murder by Mary Connealy)

My Thoughts
An amusing beginning that also intrigues you to read more, just what I expected from Mary Connealy!

I've definitely heard of Waterfall a few times. I need to add it to my list.

Well, it is my first time to hit your blog and Waterfall is definitely a new one for me. I'll have to keep coming back to see how much you rave about it and perhaps add it to my TBR page.
