Friday Memes 7/11

Book Blogger Hop

The Question:
Do you read books translation? What are the last 3 books in translation you read?

My Answer:
I don't think I have read any!

Hosted by: Rose City Reader

"Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author's name."

The dawn mist swirled around Angelique MacKenzie and shrouded the forest trail. She didn't need the light of day to guide her. She knew every path of her beloved island and could run them blindfolded if need be.

My Thoughts
Such a beautifully worded beginning!

Me neither they have all been in English, so no need xx

I try to read as many books from all over the world as I can, so there are some translations, but not a lot! That beginning is really nice, very descriptive! I know my way around some places quite well, but running blindfold is something I should never attempt. Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

I'm not really a translated reader either. I do like the beginning of this one. Love the description!

I have only read one that I know of, but there may be some that were translated that I don't know about. :)

Have a great weekend. Giveaway for The Paris Architect on my blog if you want to stop by.

Happy Hopping!!
