The Question:
Why would you stop reading a book? Too long, wrong genre, bad language, not what you expected, or something totally different?
My Answer:
I used to try to finish every book I started but now I have way too many books to read to waste time on ones that I'm not loving. Some of the biggest turn-offs for me are: language, head-hopping, unlikable main characters, too much telling instead of showing, and just generally bad writing!

A few people have responded the same you did on the BBH question and I think I'm starting to agree. I always try to finish but that just makes me take 3x as long to read something and I have way too many books on my TBR list to be wasting that much time! lol

My turn off is if the book is offensive with language or action. I can't read a book if there is a lot of offensive language.
Nice answer.
