What Countries Have I Visited Challenge

So I thought of this idea this past year and thought it would be really fun to create a challenge to see how many countries I could visit through books. This is my first time doing anything like this so bear with me! Please ask any questions you want in the comment section and I will try to reply ASAP!

         The Rules:
  • Anyone can join!
  • You don't have to have a blog to participate
  • Your own country does not count towards your number
  • The whole book doesn't have to take place in the country and you can use one book for multiple countries
  • Leave a comment with the level you are choosing and leave a direct link to your sign-up post (if you have a blog) in the linky below!

      The Levels
  • Tourist-Visit 5 countries
  • Vacationer-Visit 10 countries
  • Business Traveler-Visit 15 countries
  • Adventurer-Visit 20 countries
  • World Traveler-Visit 30+ countries
I am choosing the Adventurer level! I hope you'll join me!

I am leaving on a very massive extended trip in around May for 18 months. That gives me five months so I'm sticking with Tourist level.

5 countries in 5 months. This should be fun.

Thanks for starting this up. It sounds really cool.

P.S. I posted about this on my blog. Hope that will help you get the word out.

How fun! I do like to travel and do want to read more books set outside the US and UK. Since I didn't make much progress on the 2014 Winter Olympics challenge I think I'll stick to the Vacationer level and then hopefully surprise myself. :-)

Brooke, the first month of an annual challenge is not late! My first run, in 2012.... I didn't hear of 'reading challenges' until July! I joined some in December and did well in them all!!!!

Hostess: please advise (at my blog) if there is a page for reviews. :)

Tight security: a capcha + approval! Dial-up connections are relieved to get in a comment indeed. Q;-)= The level I chose & accomplished is 'Vacationer' (10). If you accept whacky locations, please enjoy the following.

“Hercules & Other Tales Of Greek Myth” (O.E. Coolidge) - GREECE, MOUNT OLYMPUS
“Dark They Were & Golden” (R. Bradbury) - MARS!
“The Little Prince” (A. De St. Exupéry) - ASTEROID PLANETS!

Carolyn-So glad the comment forms are working for you! Usually we just have the capcha (we were getting a lot of spam comments) but when the post is really old they ask for approval as well-sorry if it was a hassle but thanks for persevering! Congratulations on reaching your chosen level and thank you for joining this challenge!
