Friday Memes 9/26

Book Blogger Hop

The Question:
How will be reading in 100 year's time? Will there be any printed books left? How about ereaders? What might they look like?

My Answer:
I tend to not enjoy making assumptions about what the future holds so this question is really not in my wheelhouse. I think printed books will always be around but I can definitely see ereaders being more and more common.

A stranger was coming up her driveway.
Decorative tube of icing poised over the cake, Kate Marshall froze as the crunch of gravel outside the open windows at the front of the house stopped by the porch.

My Thoughts
Intriguing beginning. Not much of a mystery to me based on what I already knew about the book but it definitely draws you in!

I haven't heard of this author. But the beginning of this one has my attention.

Definitely like the beginning! Curious to know more and I tend to not be able to resist a book involving anyone who bakes. I agree with your future analysis. I don't really think too much about the future but I definitely don't see books going away.

I'm curious about the stranger. How will he/she change things for Kate? Good opening sentences.

I agree with you...e-readers will be more the norm, but I hope that print books are always here.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Happy Hopping!!
